We think these amazing new tiles are perfect if you are looking for soft flooring for a conservatory, play room or bedroom used by children or elderly adults. In cold winter weather they supply a thick insulating layer on cold floors - we have used them on a conservatory floor and kept warm with the snow deep outside.

The surface is a polypropylene cord pile that is resistant to staining and can be thoroughly and easily clean with standard household cleaners - including bleach - without affecting the colour.

Each tile has interlocking edges and is bonded onto dense foam backing affording superb fall-protection and insulation from cold or solid floors.

The unique method of interlock has an offset backing which allows the tiles to be assembled on any hard surface such as wood laminate, vinyl, ceramic tiles or even bare concrete without the tiles ever slipping apart.

The tiles are loose-laid and require no adhesive so can be lifted and moved if required.

The offset backing has a tack adhesive on the interlock edges to assist in holding the tiles together, but they can be repeatedly lifted and repositioned (think Post-It notes). They are simple to lay and instructions for creating straight edges if required are included with every order. (To make straight edge pieces you will require one extra tile to cut two edge pieces or you can simply trim off the outer interlock edges all around your mat)

Tiles are available in a range of 6 colour so you can create a patterned or plain finish.
